In the Yoga Teacher Trainings at Sattva Yoga Academy, students learn an integrated approach to yoga that helps them master the teachings in their own life. Then they will be able to teach and share those teachings with others. Our trainings are designed to allow students to deepen their understanding of the philosophy and practices of yoga.

Teacher Training at Sattva Yoga Academy is an integrated experience that will help you master the teachings of yoga in your own life. Through a series of immersive, hands-on classes and trainings, you’ll learn the philosophy and practical applications of the practice, and how to apply it to your daily life. The history of yoga, the science behind our bodies, and the path that has brought us to where we are today. At the end of the trainings, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to lead our teacher trainings and share the teachings.

We can also learn how to structure yoga classes and practices so that they can best help students on their journey toward wellness. We can also study yoga philosophy, anatomy, and physiology in order to understand how all of these things fit together and how to apply them to their own practice and teaching.

You’ll never stop doing yoga after you complete the Yoga Teacher Trainings at Sattva Yoga Academy. You’ll be able to incorporate the teachings of yoga into your daily life in new and creative ways. You’ll be able to help them on their journey toward wellness. Yoga isn’t about stopping or limiting your habits or behaviours.

Yoga has the power to change your life, and our teacher trainings are here to help you cultivate that power and bring it into the world. To continue your yoga practice, to continue learning, and to continue developing as a teacher, you must make time for yoga every day. It might be five minutes at first, and over time it might increase to twenty or thirty minutes. The important thing is to find a source of daily inspiration so that you can keep doing yoga for a lifetime. You never stop learning about yoga, so the best way to continue your yoga practice is to keep trying new things and to keep applying what you’ve learned.
