Sattva Kirtan Retreat & Training

This is an immersion into the path of Bhakti Yoga — combining daily kirtan, sacred ceremony, harmonium training for those who wish, wisdom talks, and excursions into the heart of devotional life. The retreat welcomes both musicians and non-musicians: whether you're here to learn how to lead, or to simply receive the depth of this practice.

This is a six-day Kirtan Retreat & Training — a deep immersion into Bhakti Yoga through the powerful medium of sound, voice, and sacred chant. Open to everyone those who wish to study the harmonium and also to those who just want to retreat and immerse themselves into the field of devotion.

You’ll experience daily morning journeys, Satsang, Wisdom sessions about mantra and Isthas, Study groups, Evening Kirtans, and the chance to learn foundational chants on the harmonium. Harmoniums will be provided for practicing and learning all surrounded by the beauty of the Sattva retreat and the vibrant field of the Himalayan mountains. The participants will have the option to enjoy excursions or japa circles if they choose not to participate in the harmonium learning lessons.

This course is led by Sattva Master Teachers Annemarie, Simon and Charlotte. Anandji will offer two Satsangs during this course.

What you will receive:

  • Join daily kirtans led by Sattva Master Teacher Simon & guest musicians.
  • Experience morning Sattva Yoga journeys with Sattva Master Teacher Charlotte.
  • Attend Ishta wisdom talks with Sattva Master Teacher Anne-Marie.
  • Learn up to 5 foundational chants and few additional chants.
  • Core chants taught: Ganesha Chant, Devi Chant, Shrima Jayama, Shiva Shambho, Jaya Jagatambe.
  • Additional chants: Hare Krishna, Jai Guru, Shiva Mahadeva etc. These additional chants will be available on LMS after retreat.
  • Harmoniums will be provided for practicing and learning chants and can be purchased after the course.
  • Practice Material (Drone + rhythm loops) will be provided for home practice.
  • Join temple & nature excursions to deepen devotional connection.
  • Access bonus online chant platform (LMS) after the retreat.
