A 200 hours yoga teacher training program is an essential course that lays a strong foundation in both the practice and teaching of yoga. This program covers key areas such as asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, and teaching methodology. It is designed to give students a thorough understanding of yoga principles and techniques, along with the skills needed to teach yoga safely and effectively. The training can be completed either in-person or online and usually spans several months. Upon completion, students are typically eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200).
